Wusthof Ceramic Sharpening Rod
With this Wüsthof ceramic sharpening steel 4456, 26 cm you keep your kitchen knives in top condition. The sharpening steel has a Japanese grit 3000. Fine sharpening steel that can be used to give that little bit of extra sharpness to your knives that are not yet blunt.
This ceramic sharpening rod is very hard but takes a little less material than diamond. Tastes differ of course, but considering the life of your knives, ceramics are probably the better solution. Especially when using the kitchen knives frequently. Take careful attention to the length: the sharpening steel should be at least as long as the longest kitchen knife you want to sharpen.
